It's dark all the time here, except in summer when the sun haunts with incessant daylight, freaking out a city of vampires. We all look better in the dark. But we have a place...

The Black Lodge is where we fuck, feed and create these songs of fear, death, debauchery and shame. Unspeakable acts have occured within this chasm, and it is infamous in our hometown.

But no one denies how we rock, and although we don't play live, a few have seen us perform in the Lodge.

We are from a bleak, horrible, barely inhabitable part of the earth, so we are never sober. This music is the only thing that keeps us from eating bottles of Morphine to incur death, although a few of us have tried and it doesn't even warrant a good stomach-pumping anymore. Our livers are lined with steel and our hearts with dark, depraved torment.

Long live the Surgeons of the Night. Fuck you.
